once again I can't remember what this flower is and I can't figure how to stand it up right but anyhow it comes out of a green plant and then this shoots up in middle and stays a brown color and then at some point turns this color, okay Jami what is it???

It looks a bit like astilbe, but that's done blooming right now. Hmmm...I'll have to look it up in my perennials book and let you know unless someone beats me to it!
